Daily Duties at Pioneer Investments:
Oversight of all PIMUSA sourcing and purchases including IT and Facilities Manage team of three buyers across two offices (Boston; Dublin, Ireland) to source needs of firm in US and Europe Create savings of $5 million annually in 2010 and 2011 through vendor negotiations, vendor discounts, and cost avoidance Negotiate contract terms and conditions for Pioneer Investment Management US working with Pioneer General Counsel to ensure compliance with all regulatory rulings as required by state and federal laws Pricing negotiations for all PIM US including Information Management (including Data Centers, Data Storage, Data Security, Telecommunications, Network), Facilities, Marketing and Printing Services, Investment Management, and Investment Operations Create a competitive pricing environment for vendors to ensure best pricing and terms/conditions for each agreement entered in to by Pioneer Investments Team with Facilities Manager to budget and plan major facilities capital projects and expenditures; track costs against budget and report to Board of Directors on progress and potential overages, errors, and/or omissions
