Overcame the challenge of being a new position to the division and gained buy-in of HR among managers and staff and to maintain a sense of connectedness among geographically dispersed staff. Other key functions include supporting the division’s administrative, plant and field operations in the development, implementation, and coordination of policies and programs; responsible for exempt and non-exempt payroll administration including FML, STD, LTD and other LOA’s; coordinated recruiting and hiring for all levels in division; investigated numerous number of employee relation situations, partnered with managers in learning and development, administered benefits and resolved problems; partnered with Logistic Manager ensuring DOT compliance; and case manager for workers compensation and transitional duty program.
