Daily Duties at Sanofi:

Data Center Operations Coordinator - SIS - Sr. IS Specialist Data Center Operations (2006- Present) Responsible for architecture, implementation and day-to-day operation of servers in the Cambridge Discovery Research Center. Server provisioning and operation includes operating system, server software installation, patch management, hardware maintenance and all routine preventative maintenance. • Design, build out, moving, implementation of a lights out BioTech Research Datacenter/Server room, MDF/IDF’s in a new facility (2007) using Data Center best practices, implementing automated monitoring and trending reports. • On hands management/administer for sites Active directory (AD), Email, VMware, DNS, DHCP, SMS, Blade Logic, Symantec SEP11, and Applications as well as SAN and NAS including installation, provisioning, and backups. • Provide backup support for desktop techs and WAN/LAN services including phone system, video conferencing and audio-visual, labs. • Organized and executed a plan to Virtualize 80% of the current environment in 1 year to reduce space , power and cooling requirements • Support sites BAS Facilities applications for inventory and monitoring such as Siemens and Amegaview
