Daily Duties at Ibm Ctg Contract:
System testing for the new IBM Brazos Servers. Reviewed and performed installation of server Hardware Management Console (HMC) firmware upgrades for test. Reviewed and performed installation of FSP Firmware revisions and upgrades for test. Testing was performed on the hardware installed for the complete system which performed intense testing of components of the system. This testing included network solutions, SAN storage solutions, hard drive testing in remote installed storage drawers, forced failure data recovery for any and all installed component cards, firmware features for the manipulation of the installed hardware via the Hardware Management Console as well as testing features of the FSP. All testing was being performed in the following four Operating Systems: AIX 7.1, AIX 6.3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and SuSE 3.3
