Daily Duties at Sanofi:

GIS Data Center Architect/Coordination - RSD of the Americas, Managed Service - Application & GIS Services (2013- Present) • Member of a new team - NLDC (New Local Data Center) for post Accenture Data Migration Services (AMTF) efforts, encompassing small/medium sites, developing plans for quick wins for hardware reduction, long-term maintainability, infrastructure harmonization and governance for stay local server rooms, consolidations, lifecycle management to supplement the Global Regional Next Generation Data Centers (NGDC). • Capacity planning, Project Manager for Boston Hub Science Data Center (BHDC), coordination between all ITIL (L3) service towers (server, storage, database, HPC, facilities, etc.) • Vendor Management/coordination - (AMTF) 270 Albany St. data center to migration to BHDC • Implemented and facilitated the Isilon Lab Raw Data storage (strategies, organization/methodologies) for the Boston Hub laboratory sciences (BIG Data) • Coordinated for annual data center power outages, L3 standby support & Accenture vendor management, local & hands and feet (5/31/2014) to work with in the new Global IS support model • Proposed/Advocated/promoted a new architecture and support model for Phama R&D - Tier1 (PROD) Tier 2 (DEV/POC) environments for the BHDC, for the business for small POC projects to reduce standup time that was accepted and implemented. • Lifecycle management plan for the Isilon, retirement, re-utilization in BHDC, for the hardware from 270 Albany • BHDC Architect (governing, facilitating, and monitoring activities for improvements, consolidations, lifecycle management) • Coordinate cross tower Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for severity one tickets in the AMEA, escalating issues to problem management team Infrastructure Management (L4) for long term resolution • Legacy responsibility, still maintaining L3/L4 support for Life Science instruments connecting to Network/Storage/throughput and application owner for facilities applications Iconics, Siemens system, redbeam software implementations, improvements for functionality, maintenance, and small projects for Cambridge facilities until proper support/handoff is provided by our organization.
