Personally supervised each aspect of business development, sales, marketing, operations and direct reports for immediate facility and assigned co-management responsibility for second facility; managing 30 plant and office personnel. Proficient in OSHA and DOT guidelines. Successfully negotiated and closed 65 percent of new business throughout under-performing region; resulted in a two-year backlog of commercial and residential construction projects. Secured more than $3 million in annual sales revenue by implementing effective marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns in local trade journals, newspapers and the Yellow Pages, Region previously lost 95% of all sale potential. Reduced operating cost by 28 percent annually. Interfaced directly with regional business leaders through the Chamber of Commerce, Construction Industry, Builders organizations and membership to include county and city supervisors, USAF, U.S. Dept. of Defense and relative state agencies.
