Daily Duties at Gt Advanced Technologies:

Responsible for industrial, manufacturing, and production technology engineering to support new Sapphire Fab Ingot starting as a pilot line and ramping to volume production. Defined and developed handling, workstation, and production flow standards that allowed for exponential ramp of the process line. Developed new procedures, process flow charts and process flow materials for process engineering. Established new equipment and process layouts to improve material flow and operational efficiency. Developed new handling and storage systems to reduce ergonomic impact of 40# sapphire ingots. Worked with factory planning on factory equipment layouts and AMHS designs.
