Daily Duties at First Street Hosptial:

• Responsible for collecting over $20 million in our first year of business. • Directs and supervises the staff and daily activity of the Business Office functions of billing, collections, scheduling, and admissions. • Develops, supervises and/or maintains financial and statistical reports including: Monthly patient charges, credit and collection activity, Monthly productivity variance and analysis, A/R analysis, Employee productivity. • Negotiate on all high dollar claims. • Responsible for the staffing, training and integration of personnel according to company policies and procedures; • Administers the human resources of the Business Office to include hiring, training, and conduct performance reviews for supervised staff. Counseling & appropriate disciplinary actions for unsatisfactory performance according to the policies and procedures. • Conduct monthly meetings with individual business office staff, and develop policies and procedures. • Responsible for educating patients on their benefits, and handling customer complaints within 48 hours
