Daily Duties at Christus Health:
• Managed a professional staff to ensure that financial goals & objectives based on the Revenue Cycle Scorecard are achieved monthly for each area of responsibility. • Responsible for hiring, identifying and ensuring staff development, training, education, scheduling and coaching. • Developed and implemented tools to measure associate productivity and efficiency. • Collaborated with Shared Services to provide required education and training. • Assured daily team briefings, metrics tracking, and prompt resolution of Issues, Problems, and Opportunities. • Responsible for leading the application of the principles of the Revenue Cycle Business Services standards continuously improve the processes. • Accountable for assuring a process and resource allocation to achieve the goals and objectives of the assigned areas which may include billing, collections, cash posting, payment validations, customer service and other operational support activities. • Responsible for assuring that standard process discipline is adhered to. • Produced high performance work teams through coaching, mentoring, and daily shift briefings. • Responsible for the analysis of the performance metrics to improve process performance through use of Management by fact process and analysis tool. • Implemented process change identified through the A3 process. • Monitored denials and provided education to hospital and clinical areas on the effect of denials from their areas.
