Daily Duties at Christus Health:

Outsource management during organizational transition to promote business continuity and cash flow . Proactively identify challenges and successfully provide solutions for overall growth and efficiency. . Mentored and developed leaders within the organization. • • Directed the activities of the department to ensure department, facility, and regional financial performance targets are met. • Prepared and presented financial performance reports to Senior Leadership, hospital executives, and others as necessary. • Acts as the business office contact for purposes of internal and external audit reviews for all regional facilities supported. • Responsible for the oversight and direction of all patient accounting functions, ensuring that all processes are appropriately managed in accordance with CHRISTUS standards, regulatory requirements and other guidance that mandates requirements governing such processes • Directed and managing all aspects of a centralized business office and patient financial services functions. This includes strategic planning, organizing, implementing, and managing of personnel and resources • Ensured compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and directives from regulatory agencies and third-party payers • Coordinated the development and implementation of computer applications related to patient accounting, Pathways Contract Management, electronic billing, and patient support.
