Alliance research partners in drug research often require higher security measures be put in place by the company to provide assurance that the work and their intellectual property remains secure and is not used internally on other research projects. My responsibilities were to create IT, Legal and other control measures such as compliance audits and open access for questions related to the security to facilitate compliance with confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
