Daily Duties at Goodwill Stores:

Worked as a cashier, sales associate and a little in production. As a cashier: Received payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issued receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Assisted customers by providing information and resolving their complaints. Established or identified prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulated bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners. Greeted customers entering establishments. As a sales associate: Contacted regular and prospective customers to demonstrated products, explained product features, and solicited orders. Recommended products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests. Answered customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms. Estimated or quoted prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates. Consulted with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Provided customers with product samples and catalogs. As a production worker: Stoked the shelves, sorted out donated items, did inventory and placing of item on racks and taking them off racks to put on displays shelves and other places for item display and availability to the customer.
