Daily Duties at La Cantera Hill Country Resort:

•Assesses the hotel’s vulnerabilities to business disruption; explores, develops or obtains resources to either mitigate or eliminate associated risk •Maintained operating budget; identified requirements, drafted proposals, and monitored expenditures •Directs and evaluates the activities of security department personnel •Manages the hotel’s risk and claims management program (General Liability and Worker’s Comp); investigating and submitting reports for applicable action •Manages hotel safety, security, fire prevention and asset protection efforts; coordinating inspections, maintenance, upgrades and associate training and follow up activities •Manages and develops the hotel’s emergency management program; authored, trained and drilled plan elements •Manages hotels life safety systems and physical security apparatus; exploring resources and •Establishes written policies and guidance for hotel safety and security; policies and procedures for compliance and risk mitigation •Identifies and conducts training requirements throughout the hotel; obtains or develops programs to maximize capabilities •Conducts employee OSHA orientation training; new-hire orientation, ensuring compliance and effective on-boarding •Investigates incidences, mishaps, accidents and internal/external crime, prepares reports and advises on appropriate course of action •Primary liaison with outside agencies; law enforcement, fire, health & personal protective detail
