Daily Duties at Freedom House:
Responsible for a variety of accounts payable and general ledger tasks, and processing the receipt of grant and other funds. This includes reviewing invoices and entering them into the purchase journal; processing check runs and entering wire transfers into on-line banking system; obtaining documentation for transactions from overseas offices and reconciling accounts; overseeing and reconciling petty cash disbursement for overseas offices and employees; bank and payroll reconciliation; preparing and posting general ledger entries, reviewing overseas office reports, contract and travel expense reports.
