Daily Duties at 3 Com Corporation :
Develop/maintain an in-depth technical and marketing knowledge of the entire 3Com product line. I was responsible for all channel technical sales activities within geographic territory including training, developing, and supporting partners to close end-user opportunities. Conduct product presentations as well as technical training for channel partners. Develop and design technical solutions; support the implementation of these solutions including BSS/OSS systems. I also provided program management to achieve successful results of solution sales. Supported pre-sales and post sales activities within geographic territory including training, developing, and supporting partner and end-users in the carrier space (ISP, MSO, ILEC, CLEC) specific to wireless CDMA providers and DOCSIS, VoIP products and mobile handsets. Conducted product presentations as well technical training for end-users accounts in the carrier space. Develop and design technical solutions; support the implementation of these solutions. Collect and analyze all marketing information. Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations. Assisted customers in the design of 3G wireless and VoIP networks including OSS backend systems. These networks consisted of packet base interfaces to data networks. Standards based interfaces between base station and PDSN. Provide integration to EV-DO. Responsible for all wireless and RFP/RFQ responses for the region. Manage and meet sales quota objectives. I successfully closed a CDMA opportunity at BellSouth International in Bogota, Colombia. Worth 2,000,000 I also successfully closed $3 million dollar opportunity, the largest commercial DSL transaction in the company’s history with an ILEC located in North Carolina. Exceeded quota year after year.
