Daily Duties at Ardeal Pharma, Inc:

Strategic planning underlying commercialization of patented Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) into dermal and topical pharmaceutical applications including inflammatory skin diseases, wound healing and eye diseases. I am the key person for all the scientific and business development side of the company. Additional Information on Responsibilities: • Company officer and member of executive management/strategic product development planning team. I am responsible for all scientific efforts of the company. • Primary responsibility for the company’s business plan, financial documents/projections, and grant writing. I am primary responsible person for planning and execution of company’s drug development project till IND application and Phase 1a/2a stage clinical trials. I was responsible for protocol development and recruiting best fit CROs for pre-clinical animal efficacy, dermal toxicology, bioanalytical, and dermal clinical trial work. Why I left Ardeal Pharma I accepted this position to get more entrepreneurial experience during my MBA /NC Biotechnology Industry Fellow program. Founders did not wanted to dilute their share in the company, hence, going to non-dilutive fund became difficult. As the CEO/board of directors could not generate seed money needed to run the initial project such as Proof-Of Concept studies, I left this company to concentrate on MBA and stay close to my family in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently, this company is planning to license out their technology.
