Daily Duties at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center:
This is volunteer position. Since, I already exposed to drug discovery and drug development entrepreneurship activity while working as an Industry Fellow/Chief Science Officer at early-stage pharmaceutical company, I joined this volunteer position to expose myself to learn healthcare service line management before my MBA graduation. Main responsibilities include assisting business director of the Heart and Vascular Center (H&V center) in financial analysis of center’s Integrated Practice Units (IPU) and strategic planning for outreach activity.
What they like about Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center:
You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
