Daily Duties at Darden Inc./Olive Garden:

Purchasing and ordering with over 10 vendors. Staffs and directs a team or 40 to 50 daily, and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area, and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for employees. The main of objection is to provide a superior experience for the three strategic focuses of the business, which are: the customers, the investAdditional Responsibilities Include: Develops and implements a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Responsible for the performance and development of the employees. Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective coaching to ensure employee and company growth. Conducts one-on-one reviews with all employees to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of employee productivity performance. Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance. Maintains accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales associates. Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team. Recruits, tests, and hires employees based on the company’s values and principles. Analyzes past data and considers present events/circumstances to make accurate forecasts concerning future sales. Orders and inventories products to monitor cost control. Analyzes customer experience reports to gauge performance and opportunities for growth. Provides oral clarification to contractors and technical representatives on errors with invoices. Ensures coding of invoice of vouchers is correct and agrees with the obligating document and that payment is legal. Processes payment vouchers for contractors and vendors. Verifying documents ensuring completeness and accuracy.
