As Telephone Triage RN I took calls from patient families and triaged them to the appropriate area of the hospital clinics or to the MD on call as necessary. In the role of Ambulatory Care Staff RN I was trained to work in all clinics and specialties and performed sedations when scheduled which included PIV starts, administering medications and monitoring the patient during the procedure through recovery.
