Daily Duties at Advantage 2000 Consultants:

I represented individual at the hearing level. This involved extensive traveling throughout the United States and representing them in a hearing before the Administrative Law Judge. I had to write briefs detailing my theory of the case. It involved extensive knowledge of disorders and diseases related to the human body. I planned all of my travel. This included booking airfare, hotel stays, and rental cars needed. I carried a caseload of 200+ cases. I also had an assistant to whom I had to assign daily activities and/or post-hearing development. I completed travel expense reports upon return from trips. I was the first person in the company to pass the test to become a certified legal representative. I maintained a 90% award rate. I negotiated the terms of a case with the Administrative Law Judge in order to get the claim approved in a way most beneficial to the claimant. I prepared claimants before their hearing by discussing questions and answers. I completed online appeals which included details about the individuals impairments, their treating sources and their medications.

What they like about Advantage 2000 Consultants:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
