Daily Duties at Argosy University Online Programs:
Academic and operational leadership for online students and faculty in the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, College of Health Sciences, and the College of Arts and Sciences, programs in Psychology. Contribute to the development and revision of academic programs and curriculum (syllabi and courses brought online) in addition to providing assistance to the college leadership in regards to regional and programmatic accreditation. Provide supervision of full time faculty members; participate in faculty performance reviews, and the implementation of academic policies and procedures. Develop and implement training for faculty and staff regarding new programs and revised programs. Provide strategies to improve teaching effectiveness, increase persistence and student satisfaction, and enhance faculty/student engagement. Generate and implement new activities and programs to provide opportunities for students and faculty to develop professionally and network. Initiatives have included creating virtual psychology conferences, a college newsletter, and content for social media sites on the university platforms (Connections; Student Portal; Twitter; etc.).
