Daily Duties at Wellpoint:
• Managed 8 member ETL team. • Worked as Informatica and Teradata SME to fine tune existing mappings. • Worked in Production support during onshore hours. • Developed Complex ETL mappings and SQL queries,. • Prioritize the work and allocate the work among team members • Fine-tuned existing poorly performing mappings. • Facilitate Integration Testing, User acceptance testing. Verify the testing plan created by the team and responsible for communicating testing plan to all stakeholders and monitoring the progress. • Created reusable worklets to implement Batch Control Process and auditing in existing workflows. • Provide solutions for workflow automation using WLM scheduling tool. • Create test plans, strategies and documentation of results. • Create and manage best practices and standards for ETL processes. • Perform code review, bug fixing, issues tracking and resolution. • Provide solutions for workflow automation through ETL using Informatica. • Have excellent knowledge in Teradata utilities MLoad, Fastload and Tpump. • Have excellent exposure to Teradata DBA utilities Teradata Manager, Stats wizard, index wizard, work load manager and visual explain. .
