Daily Duties at American Redcross:

• Involved in the analysis of source to target mapping provided by data analysts and prepared Functional design & Technical design documents. • Designed ETL architecture with stage, work & audit history tables to capture delta from various source systems. • Designed ETL strategy to load Dimensions & Daily/Monthly Fact tables. • Designed reconciliation/balancing routines. • Created complex Push down Optimization Informatica mappings to load data into Teradata database. • Fine-tuned existing complex ETL mappings & integrated data from different source systems. • Used Informatica Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor to schedule and monitor session status. • Developed mappings in Informatica to load the data from various sources into the Data Warehouse, using different transformations such as Joiner, Aggregator, Update Strategy, Rank, Router, Lookup, Sequence Generator, Filter, Sorter, Source Qualifier. • Provide solutions for workflow automation through ETL using Informatica. • Created test plans, strategies and documentation of results. • Created and managed best practices and standards for ETL processes. • Worked on UNIX shell scripts to move data from EDW tables.
