Daily Duties at Micro Vision:
Recruited to develop new Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) hardware sourcing program in order to eliminate single sourcing. Responsibilities included leading a cross-functional team from business development, engineering and operational management to define the project and interface with ODMS of interest along with the analysis and evaluation of the business model for strategic partnership and benchmarking of ODMS to manufacture, test and sell products in different OEM markets. Additonal responsibilities included establishing product definition documentation, cost modeling against targets (both product and NRE in order to meet a goal of saving $1M in annualized supply chain costs and reducing part costs by 45%.
