Daily Duties at Cp Kelco:
Re-organize the environmental department to ensure effective and efficient compliance at both the manufacturing facility and the research and development facility. Evaluate and upgrade staff, including three (3) internal direct reports, and multiple environmental consultants. Replace "people dependent" compliance tools with robust systems to better manage 29 air permits with over 600 requirements. Improve timely and accurate submittal of federal annual and semi-annual submittals such as AEI, SARA, RCRA, and TSCA compliance. Also responsible for R&D facility with one (1) environmental professional. Areas of concern include waste management (lab packs), waste water discharge(s), and training requirements.
