Daily Duties at Weatherford International:

Provided cost accounting, modeling, and financial analysis for four plants (two in Texas, one in Pennsylvania, and one in Indiana) with an annual production of over $14 million of chemicals used in oil and gas hydraulic fracturing. • Managed/analyzed an $18 million operational budget and provided senior management with variance reports. • Created a process improvement for managing material and labor that utilized an innovative analysis that identified causes for variations.  Prepared reports for Plant Managers that were used to resolve issues and reduce production overhead. • Prepared Demand Adjusted Schedules for Directors and Senior Management, Monthly/Annual Cost Rolls for all locations, and ad hoc reports directed by senior management. • Functioned as Lead Auditor for physical inventories/audits at each distribution and manufacturing plants. • Used JD Edwards ERP Systems and other applications to prepare reports that included: Monthly/Quarterly Direct Expense Variance/Absorption Analysis; AFE justification, documentation, and tracking; inventory trend analysis; E&O analysis; Standard Cost Maintenance Analysis; Business Interruption Case Analysis; and Freeport Exemption Calculations and Filings. • Monitored and corrected all Purchase Price and Work Order Variance related issues. • Drove the process improvement for plant cost rolling. Worked with team to load appropriate date and established overhead rates used to roll monthly and annual costs. • Ensured accuracy of inventory for manufacturing locations by completing a 100% count through cycle counting or physical inventory.  Monitored, trained team members, and assisted in resolving cycle count issues. • Investigated and resolved inventory integrity issues and provided manufacturing management with assistance for budget reviews and forecasting. • Created and produced various queries for various applications; assisted management in monitoring AFE spend and other fixed asset issues; and reviewed PPV material and Closed Work Order variances at each location. • Conducted final document review of financial statements and other items to ensure meeting external audit requirements.
