Daily Duties at National Healthcare Corp.:
Was responsible for the care of 210 patients in the facility. I treated both acute illnesses, as well managed chronic diseases. I reviewed all lab, x-ray, ultrasounds and other test that were ordered and prescribed a plan of care as appropriate. Met with family frequently to educate and keep them updated about their loved ones condition. I was the leader of the wound team, and debrided wounds and ordered treatments. I lead the monthly Utilization Review Committee, required by medicare. Provided occasional inservices for license staff for needed educational opportunities.
