Daily Duties at United Rentals:
Accountable for a 6-state territory (Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama), managing over 190 National Account customers. Developed new business, and serviced existing United Rental National Accounts. Supervised and managed URI Regional National Account Regional Office in Baton Rouge. Conducted formal presentations, and closed deals to potential URI National Account Customers who were Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, ENR400 and ENR600 ranked. Acquired position in December 1999, and increased customer base from 22 national accounts to 192. In 1999, Baton Rouge territory generated $1.3 million. Instrumental in growing revenue by year end, 2004, to an all-time high of $38 million.
