Daily Duties at Ridley Inc., Ridley Block Operations – Rbo Technology Center:
Serve as the technology center research scientist, in charge of providing technical support for the company’s eight manufacturing plants in upper Midwest region, Texas, and California, while adhering to the 5S practices. Study faulty products and samples of raw materials from manufacturing plants. Administer the troubleshooting of the technology center pivotal in presenting effective recommendations on raw materials, formulation, and process variables. Oversee the experiments in laboratory, pilot, and industrial scales. Render assistance in maximizing the use of acquired technologies, as well as in making the necessary changes to processes and products to meet the customers’ requirements. Strategic gathering of data for the company’s several patent applications (2 pending, 1 in progress – US Patents P232270.US 01, and P243348.US.01). Employ expertise in materials science to improve the properties of the animal nutrient feed blocks; enhance hardness of the composite blocks by adding various hardening agents and formulating various combinations. Contribute in reducing the cold-flow (creep) of low-moisture blocks. Play an active role as part of a team responsible for boosting the reactor capacity in the molasses cooking process.
