Daily Duties at Ingersoll Rand Inc:
Senior Engineering Lab technician on NPD and major product redesign team for six projects, tested and qualified for certification under CSA, ANSI, ASHREA, DOE, AND U.L agency and government standards Established efficiency levels using component designs to improve efficiency to meet energy star ratings established by the government. • Conduct testing and recommended improvements to existing products due to troubleshooting observations on field issues and new design protocol for existing heating and air conditioning platforms • Directed department 5S project to improve organizational, and operational efficiency in testing • Trained new technician on processes and procedures for all CSA, ANSI, ASHREA, DOE, and U.L agency and government standards • Member of team responsible for improvements on testing procedure productivity improvements, and implementation of standardized test reporting for residential solutions engineering lab • Member of ISO 17025 leadership team which was task with planning and implementation of initial start-up and qualification of corporate engineering lab for ISO 17025 • Certification as an internal auditor for ISO 17025, requiring adherence to variances, standard deviation of instruments, data acquisition, and processes. • Continuous quarterly ISO 17025 internal audits and reports in compliance with certification of lab
