Daily Duties at Nortel Networks:
This role allowed me the capability to exercise team leadership skills, directing a group and overseeing the system integration of product testing, regulatory compliance, RF conditioning hardware along with vendor interactions. Successfully, I led a team in strategically defining the process structure and system development of the base station hardware for CDMA applications. I also managed personnel in development of process documents and control. As Manager of Systems Integration & Test, it was imperative that I ensured products and personnel met internal standards by ISO-9001 and customer needs. I also served as UL/CSA Safety Lab Manager and oversaw all equipment and budgeting requirements of the entire lab. I spearheaded the strategy for third party test facilities and managed and defined interactions with stakeholders, enhancing client relations and team collaboration. Using strategic planning, I implemented a business continuity plan for the group to ensure prevention of disruption and also executed a smooth training process concerning ISO requirements. Products: CDMA | RF Conditioning hardware | ISO-9001
What they like about Nortel Networks:
You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
