Daily Duties at Shaw Communications:
As a WiFi Planner, I had the opportunity to engage in planning, designing, and developing placement of WiFi access points using a database for construction for design implementation. This role allowed me to effectively collaborate with the sales team regarding installation costs and requirements to deploy cable and fiber services to points. I developed efficiencies in delivering design requirements to external organization through incepting process strategies, while leveraging industry wide expertise at Nortel. All projects that I worked on, designing WiFi coverage for the City of Calgary region were received with a 100% success rate. My most valuable achievements entailed designing the WiFi coverage for the Calgary Zoo, an extensive project involving interfacing with construction teams concerning the precise design and addressing lucrative solutions for positive change, while remaining flexible. This role demanded team collaboration through working with other organizations affiliated with Shaw to achieve total customer satisfaction and technological efficiency.
