Daily Duties at Capstar Drilling Inc.:

 Carrying out Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before the onset of any task.  Strict compliance with safety regulations via the use of PPE.  Counting of all drill pipes and collar pipes dispatched on the racks at the beginning of all shifts.  Cleaning both ends of the pipe with wire-brush to rid off dirt, sand.  Properly applying dope (Black & White) on both ends.  Rolling the pipes unto the boom for onward dispatch underground.  Working on the Nipple-up work processes.  Ensuring proper and constant filling-up of diesel to run the generators.  Tightening pipe heads using wrenches and hammers.  Assembling and breaking various sizes of pipes used as conduits to flush out water and other liquids from the soil.  Using the pressure washer to clean under tanks to rid off oil residues and in general housekeeping.  Swinging hammers to tighten equipments.  Installing and dismantling of the Blow-Out Pressure machine during rig-up & rig down.  Ensuring that all rig processes are constantly monitored, adhered to and working perfectly.  General house-keeping.  All other job functions as assigned by the Rig Manager, Driller or Supervisor.
