• Licensed Professional Engineer leading pipeline integrity efforts and programs including the maintenance and inspection of Williams’ liquid and gas pipeline assets in the north east region of USA as per applicable state and federal standards • Developed, updated, and maintained the integrity management program for the Williams’ pipeline network in the north east USA • Mitigate pipeline risks due to landslide movements and due to long wall mining operations • Carried out pipeline risk management studies to maintain the safety of the Williams pipeline network • Identified additional preventive and mitigative measures, determined the re-assessment interval and re-assessment methods through participation in Informational Analysis processes. • Interacted with various other departments within the company including pipeline operations, pipeline control and commercial to minimize revenue impact due to pipeline inspection and maintenance • Carried out due diligence studies on new company acquisitions for Williams • Mentoring of junior Engineers in the Asset Integrity group • Evaluating integrity assessment results to determine need for temporary pressure reductions and the need for repairs and repair methods • Lead High Consequence Area (HCA) impact determination analysis for both hazardous liquids and natural gas pipelines • Performed analysis for determining possible placement of Emergency Flow Restrictive Devices (EFRD) • Conduct calculations to carry out hydrostatic testing of pipelines and to determine the MAOP of pipelines • Knowledge of various state and federal pipeline regulations • Evaluate new pipeline inspection technology to inspect unpiggable pipelines • Implemented the written Integrity Management Programs; as well as the standards and procedures to support the IMP for all pipeline assets, both liquids and gas • Provided input to the annual budget • Incorporated newly acquired operated assets into the Integrity Management plan (IMP) • Investigated and developed solutions to evaluate and mitigate residual strain in pipeline due to poor pipeline construction to prevent girth weld failures • Conducted pipeline pigging operations in gas and liquid and in batched operations • Reviewed Cathodic Protection (CP) surveys on pipelines • Develop and maintain all pertinent records for all the jurisdictional pipelines as per DOT 192 and DOT 195. • Recommend and supervise pipeline repairs based on In-Line Inspection reports • Review and evaluation of operator qualifications for various ILI and field inspection activities as per API 1160, API 1163, ASNT ILI PQ-2005 and NACE RP0102 • Developed alternatives to minimize and eliminate foreign encroachment on company pipelines • Participated in pipeline failure investigations and carried out root cause analysis studies
