Daily Duties at Feldcamp For United States Congress:

Responsible for all campaign communications including, but not limited to, all printed materials, website content, published voter guides, newsletters, candidate speeches and numerous other campaign-related communications. Created and designed an innovative campaign website that received positive reviews from both voters and media alike. Effectively generated earned media opportunities for a conservative candidate in a state known for its liberal political beliefs. These earned media opportunities were accomplished by building strong relationships with journalists and media outlets across the state. Mainstream media often choose not to cover many campaign issues. By utilizing non-traditional communication outlets, such as internet blog sites, I was successful in persuading the mainstream media to cover many of these issues. Through e-mail and a weekly electronic newsletter, the campaign effectively communicated with financial and political supporters. Campaign Newsletters were available in an HTML e-mail, or as a PDF file on the Campaign Website. As Deputy Campaign Manager, I was involved in all major campaign decisions, in addition to, my duties as Communications Director. Job Responsibilities: media relations, press relations, talking points, political organization, message development, email marketing, web communications, social media channels.

What they like about Feldcamp For United States Congress:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
