Daily Duties at Frank Alloy, Inc :

* Provide the framework to guide the identification of problems and to serve as the basis for recommendation for more or efficient ways of performing work task. * Actively mediates and partners with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues for assigned product groups. * Researches, coordinates, plans and institutes activities for engineering projects, thus development programs, and/or product support programs for our customers and plants. * Assists in supplier price and delivery negotiations; under direct supervision may negotiate contracts as necessary. * Works with engineering structures to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements. * Assists in developing supplier and commodity road maps to engineering firms * Coordination of Painting/Coatings activities, Protective Coatings specifications recommendation of anchor profile and blasting grits type and coating failure investigation. * Determination of required abrasive Grits to achieve the desired anchor pattern/depth on substrate for the required life expectancy of coatings. * Cathodic protection using either Impressed-Direct Current or Sacrificial anodes (choice of protection method being based on design, environment and other variables), Chemical Inhibitions and monitoring, Inspection Techniques, and Repair Methods. * Provision of Expertise advice and assistance to design, construction, operations and maintenance personnel on matters pertaining to corrosion control. * Provision of Technical expertise in corrosion and integrity management for pipelines, facilities, marine vessels, tanks etc including Risk Assessment. * Supporting construction and the operations units with incident investigation, coating failure analysis/reporting, regulatory compliance in conformance to NACE/SSPC standards and recommendations. * Cathodic Protection performance monitoring and testing on pipelines and offshore structures * Working closely with facilities engineering and operations to plan, supervise and execute integrity related jobs on the company marine vessels at the Jetty and other company jetties for failure investigations, analyses, reports, regulatory matters and return-to-service recommendations.
