Daily Duties at City Of Charlotte:

SWS Department’s ERP Trainer and coordinator, ensuring the optimal understanding of the city’s new computer management system. Identify functional, process gaps within the department. Develop specialized reports for budgeting, special projects, waste reduction management. Compilation of budgetary data for comparison and analysis that is reported to the Division director. Prepare year-end financial reports for the division. Serve as the financial officer for Community Outreach Projects. CATS Oversight for 10 high profile budgets within the CATS system, including $10 million Light Rail budget Monthly analysis and forecasts of spending trends, including fuel costs for recommendation Review and manage procurement & contract process Analyze and reconcile budget expenditures for recommendation of appropriate action Monthly monitoring and training of project managers (PM) on appropriate budgetary practices Monitor budget transactions monthly to anticipate economic anomalies Management & oversight for operational and capital budget expenditures
