Daily Duties at Stericycle Inc.:

I worked in a fast-paced processing work environment for 9 years. ● The first 3 year I worked as a Plant worker where I helped achieve company processing goal by supporting other production members ● The next 4 years I worked as an Assistant Shift Supervisor where I helped the Shift Supervisor train employees in conjunction with working to meet company processing goals in a team setting. ● The next 2 years I worked as Shift Supervisors where I supervised a team of 6-9 employees to achieve consistent production in order to meet company processing goals. ● Responsibilities also included operating forklift and yard tractor. For 1 year I worked as an Operations Assistant ● Worked with plant workers to meet company processing goals as well as worked with management to improve operations and enhance quality while reducing cost. For the last 5 years I have worked as a Plant Supervisor and in Maintenance Department at the facility ● Work with and trained a plant of 36 team members ● Performed maintenance and troubleshooting using analytical thinking on equipment including; PLC's, robotic, and washing systems. ● Assist in the development and tracking of preventative maintenance on process equipment. ● Maintained parts inventory utilizing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. ● Placed orders and worked with vendors to get quotes on and replace parts for inventory and repair as necessary. ● Directed and coordinated the production and processing in the plant. ● Developed production and quality control systems, performed and established preventative maintenance to help maintain processing consistency. ● Prepared annual performance reviews on employees to establish merit increases. ● Perform monthly swab tests of product to maintain quality and establish compliance with governing agencies. ● Maintained filing systems and records in the plant ● Underwent audits on processes and record retention from regulating agencies. ● Responsibilities also included operating various plant equipment, forklift, yard tractor, and hook truck to perform tasks as required. ● Hired and managed staff, overseeing any personnel grievances.
