Daily Duties at Do D, Joint Chiefs Of Staff, Operations Directorate:
Formulate, review and brief military courses of action, operations and contingency plans for consideration by the Joint Chiefs and the Secretary of Defense. Prepare Joint Chiefs of Staff orders directing the execution of military operations. Conduct routine coordination and collaboration on national military issues with other Joint Staff Directorates, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Service Staffs and other government agencies. Provides expert advice on joint and Army Operations and serves as a member of Crisis Action Teams in the National Military Command Center as required.
