• Evaluated solid waste management project aimed at solving problems arising from throwing waste into irrigation canals and to find alternatives for solid waste such as turning it into bio-fertilizers and animal feed • Held focus groups and interviewed ~200 individuals to learn more from farmers and their wives about their current waste disposal practices and their openness to explore new recycling techniques • Entered data with SPSS, applied SWOT analysis and created report showing new waste practices: decreased child illness rate, increased household income (selling recycled products) and new villages adopting similar practices
