Daily Duties at Indiana Dept. Of Transportation :

• Oversaw the design and contract formation of multimillion dollar transportation and construction projects designed in-house and design review of those developed by consultants. • Managed over 35 employees including but not limited to designers, surveyors, project managers, contract supervisors, consultant liaisons. • Negotiated and administered engineering and construction contracts. • Monitored and controlled change orders and contract changes in scope and quantity. • Established guidelines and standard operating procedures for contract reviews, proposals and amendments, increasing profitability and reducing cost. • Performed schedule analysis, construction contract and environmental law, FHWA requirements including applicable CFR's, work zone safety, INDOT standard specifications, INDOT construction administration procedures, and acceptance, quality construction methods for road, bridge, storm water drainage, traffic signals.
