Daily Duties at Battelle:
Coordinated all facets of government relations interaction for the $700+ million National, IC and Homeland Security businesses, functioned as co-liaison between C-Suite, business managers, and scientists and engineers to Capitol Hill, White House, Federal Agencies and other key stakeholders including coalitions and consortiums to address business development through legislative activities. Protected key market federal science and technology budget lines. Responded to Congressional inquiries, prepared materials, testimony, talking points, and tracked legislation regarding national and homeland security, energy, environment, health and transportation areas for senior executives.
