Daily Duties at The Pitch:

Oversees retail and classified advertising, editorial, business, production, and circulation departments. Oversee hiring of all staff. Monitor the circulation of print product. Initiated a number of new media products and services, including the introduction of our web site pitch.com (currently over 800,000 pageviews per month), our mobile version of pitch.com, a happy hour app, SEO and SEM marketing, five different newsletters targeted to specific subscribers, and social networking marketing. Establish new ways to promote product and increase revenue through events and partnerships with other businesses. Monitored multiple databases to keep track of past, current and future revenue. Work with Sales Manager to train sales representatives. Continually look for way to reduce costs and be fiscally sound.
