Daily Duties at U.S. Navy:

I was in charge of ensuring that all facilities were 100% ready to receive the First Family and their guest without any delays. This included the gym facility, library, dining area, Presential cabin, guest cabins, helicopter hanger, and lodging facilities for Presidential staff. For the 4 year period under my charge these facilities were 100% ready at all times. I scheduled the repairs and maintenance of these facilities as not to interfere with the first families activities. I provided oversight on the 2 80,000 gallon swimming pools that included maintaining the heaters for the pools and all associated equipment as well as the hot tubs. I oversaw the grounds maintenance that included 365 acres of manticured grass, scrubs, and flowers. This was done daily as the President and guess arrived weekly and I along with the team were complimented on our work and the condition of the facilities and grounds.

What they like about U.S. Navy:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
