Daily Duties at Olin Corporation:
Responsible for the continuous operation of the chlorine production, boiler operation, and compressed air system in an 800 tons/day chlorine production facility. Ensuring the continuous operation, improving efficiency of operation, and improving the environmental and safety aspects of the operation. Led the awareness and practice of safety procedures, and environmental procedures. Led a production team of 30 operators in a PSM-regulated unionized plant during daily plant operation. Led the Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) in chlorine liquefaction process, boiler process, chlorine storage and loading area. Managed R-12, R-22 and R-124 Freon systems. Achieved zero environmental incidents of Freon release.
