Daily Duties at Sysco Corporation:
I was hand picked by Sysco Corporate COO. I was charged with directing the consolidation of inbound freight for 73 distribution companies into one centralized transportation management solution. In this role, I had oversight for a $4 billion supply chain operation, a remote team of six, and all strategy development, change management, performance metrics, benchmarking and logistics management. I designed a successful transportation management solution that delivered $100 million in profitability over five years. My day to day was filled with Problem solving when deploying the new centralized TMS system. I created JD's, I created Metrics for the corporation, i created deployment plans, communication plans with DC and recommended TMS enhancements. I would communicate with Presidents, the COO of Sysco, and other Executives.
