Daily Duties at Fry's Electronics:

Total responsibility for the Fry's Audio Divisions, buying, associate development, merchandising, advertising and sales. Home Audio, Portable Audio, Mobile Audio and Accessories for all. Contract negotiation, Vendor relationships, In Stock percentage, product turns, Return to vendor defectives, write ad copy select images, develop ad strategy and step strategy. Proof final weekly newspaper and radio ads, Store schematics where things go on the shelf, Store excecution of ads, sales, schematics, step strategy, store transfers, events. Teach basic selling techniques to sales associates, product training and weekly selling strategy on a weekly video conference to all associates, Review performance and inspire improvement with Audio Department Managers weekly on the video conference system. Meet with all audio associates that did not hit their selling minimums every Saturday morning to discuss ideas for improvement. Review weekly selling numbers and ad results with top management each Monday. Walk through two stores every Friday. Attend vendor selling shows and conventions. develop and review my team of expeditors. review all payables, maintain the vendor files and model master files. meet with vendors, set vendor ordering sequence, match it with each stores receiving capacity. Initiated an upgrade in store fixtures. Interface with Car Stereo Installation specialists, Purchase all Misc supplies to accommodate Car Stereo Installation Manage the Bose Theater operations in each store. Recruit Sales associates from other retailers.
