Daily Duties at Morgan Stanley:

 Directly responsible for all aspect of financial reporting and operational support for Financial Control Group.  Conducted daily PnL analysis for Corporate Treasury on outstanding money market positions.  Processed entry of interest rate/cross-currency swaps and options while participating in the issuances of equity/credit linked notes. Covered operations for Treasury group facing Equity and Commodity groups.  Provided monthly accounting and reporting of company’s long term debt positions, interest accruals and P&L to Management. Manage the month end review process according to the company’s three R’s policy of reconcile, review and report.  Prepared accurate quarterly/annual reports for debt. Respond to follow up queries from the external auditors regarding reported data.  Served as key contact for internal/external audits, ensuring issues were addressed and policies/procedures were updated.  Participated in the writing of narratives and drafting of flowcharts in compliance with accounting standards requirements.  Managed a group of three. Assigned task and conducted review of account reconciliations and project management. Participated in the firm’s annual review process, a detailed view on each direct report and commenting on the year’s achievements and career path progression.
