Daily Duties at Health Department Mecklenburg County :
Collaborated with parents, legal guardians, healthcare providers (HCP), and various community and state agencies on daily basis to advocate the developmental needs and safety of infants and children ages 0 – 5 years of age. Educated, advocated, supervised and facilitated client and family according to specified healthcare or community need. Corresponded with parent/guardian and HCP to ensure proper post-care follow-up of each emergency room visitation or encounter. Appointed role of lead Refugee Case Manager and assumed responsibility of “cultural liaison” for CC4C program within Mecklenburg County.
