Daily Duties at Esei, Inc:
Was part of a six person team with an additional Team Lead that was responsible for the pulling, placement, installation, termination, troubleshooting, and repair of both CAT 5/5e/6 (twisted pair) and Fiber Optic cables (single and multi-mode) and associated hardware. All trouble tickets and major projects were assigned by the Inside/Outside Plant Lead. All work included but not limited to installation of switches (secure and unsecure), Promina 800's, and other forms of communication hardware. Received training on the use of Fluke Fiber Optic testing equipment and the Fujikura S40 Fiber Optic single strand splicer. Terminated CAT 5/5e/6 twisted pair cable according to TIA/EIA standards. Labeled fiber optic cables according to industry standards.
